Our Story

This app was born out of gratitude—and responsibility.

When I needed an internship to graduate, a small Black-owned T-shirt company that told the history of Black Chicago took a chance on me when no one else would. That single act of belief changed my path. It reminded me that opportunity doesn't just appear—it's created by people willing to open doors for others.

But I also saw how fragile access can be when it relies only on word of mouth or insider connections. Too many people—especially those new to a city, traveling, or searching for community—are left without the knowledge they need to find their way.

I built this app to make that knowledge visible. To turn shared culture into shared access. And to ensure that opportunity is no longer dependent on luck, proximity, or who you happen to know.
